Harlequin Blaze celebrated its fifth birthday. Each year at the National Romance Writers of America Conference, editor Brenda Chin invites her Blaze authors to go on a little adventure. This summer in Atlanta we went horseback riding. I was given the most gentle horse (probably because I looked scared to death!) And I survived (even though the horse pretty much did what he wanted). The most exciting and frightening event of the day was when our beloved editor's horse nearly tossed her off into a stream. Our great trail boss Deb was more shook up than anyone. She likes to bring everyone back unharmed. We had a great time — and we each have some great stories to tell.
